Zero understanding of modern remote work capabilities, with the upper leadership politics forcing employees to take a forced day off when others in the workplace clearly have symptoms that very well could endanger those around them.

Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible.
Communication between departments can always improve.
Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.

There is fulfillment from helping patients regain independence after injury or illness. Encompass Health promotes diversity and inclusion. There is a good work life balance. Wide range of benefits. An overall positive work environment!
Cons
Encompass could recognize more holidays for employees as well compensate salaries to match cost-of-living for the area better.
