Pros

Hospital offers great benefits package along with promising a less than honest nurse patient ratio. Employees are friendly and work well together. There is no room for growth because there is no education unless you take classes on your own. There is little work life balance because someone is always calling out and they are always short and calling people in to cover. If you don't come in, they make you feel guilty, so you avoid answering the phone on your days off.

Cons

Employees are not prepared to do rehab nursing and many leave. The nursing educator is useless and staff are enabled by inexperienced supervisors. There is no strong leadership. The CEO is wimpy and the top doctor just walks around all day acting like a doctor or hiding in his office and has his staff see his patients. Marketing bring patients in to fill beds, they can't handle the rehab

Pros

Great team to work, people are always willing to help each other. The clinicians genuinely care about their patients and it shows every day. You feel like you’re making a difference in patients’ lives. Good teamwork between departments. Leadership listens to feedback and wants the hospital to keep improving. Positive work environment with coworkers who care about doing a good job.

Cons

Healthcare is busy, so some days can be stressful. Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible. Communication between departments can always improve. Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.
