Pros
Company parties, growth opportunities IF you get along with management, good pay for college students, fairly lenient time off policy
Cons
Since EB merged with Regions, there's been a LOT of pressure from corporate that trickles down to management that trickles down to the employees. Tuition reimbursement now ONLY applies to Business-related majors. Complicated time management system. It used to be a weekly pay, but now its bi-weekly which is a huge adjustment. A lot of internal politics - people are right that if you're well-liked in the company you'll be fine, but if you're not socializing then it'll be miserable. Only expect to get promoted if you're a white LDS male, otherwise they'll dangle a promotion in front of your face to get you to work harder but it'll never happen. A lot of micro-managing on every little detail. Customers can be rude and entitled because they can't see your face and it's all business over the phone so your mental health will take a severe toll. Summer months get super busy to the point you're taking 100-150 calls per day and winter months get very slow to the point you're contemplating why you're wasting your life at this job. Holidays are only reserved for management (not officially but pretty much) so forget about spending them with your loved ones.
