Great Potential, Poor Management - Engineer Energy Land & Infrastructure Employee Review

Pros

The work environment was very conducive with learning when it came to immediate coworkers. Coworkers were nice and helpful when I had questions, even if they were very simple. While my "mentor" (not my manager) was a bit abrasive, he always pushed me to learn and get better, which has helped me more than I can count now. I can honestly say I am a better engineer today because I worked here.

Cons

Management as a whole. They seemed to always get in the way of production. They would take credit if you succeeded but blame you if you failed. You can very clearly tell they care about the bottom line more than the employee. They never gave raises, always complained about taking time off, and overall just didn't help where it was needed. If you suggested something, it would be promised that they would take a look at it but it would never be implemented. Just very unproductive and detrimental at most times.

Pros

Great culture, leadership, work-life balance. They really care about and live their core values. They are growing but still have a personal connection with all of their employees. Fun and diverse project in the markets they serve.

Cons

None to name right now.

Pros

One of the things I appreciate most is the leadership's transparency and commitment to employee growth. Managers are proactive in helping employees set goals and achieve them. Highly recommend this company.

Cons

The company is actively evolving its processes, which presents a great opportunity for employees to contribute to meaningful improvements.
