Pros

Fun office culture - While not for everyone, if you can take a joke the office culture was at times downright hilarious. Easy work - The work (esp. CAD on the nat gas side) was not very hard. Varying levels of working outdoors - Even as an engineer there was a good chance you'd be going out to a job site anywhere between twice a week and once or twice a month. A nice change of pace if you like the outdoors. Co-workers - This may have changed since I was there, but the engineers and various other workers there were really knowledgeable. They offered a lot of guidance and definitely made me a better engineer.

Cons

Upper management - Questionable decisions came down from upon high at nearly every turn. It was just another place that cares more about lining their own pockets than creating thriving livelihoods for their workers and a excellent yet sustainable product. This company could be amazing if management would get out of their own way and support the solid core of employees they gathered. Pay - While not the worst in the civil engineering scene, it was nothing to write home about especially considering how lucrative the work was. Raises were pretty pathetic, barely keeping up with inflation and that was before inflation skyrocketed. Terrible Hardware - It's not a huge thing, but the computers ran so slow and were so inconsistent that it reduced the amount of work that could have been done at least to some degree. It was really frustrating more than anything.
