Cons
There was a major lack of concern for employee wellness and a very toxic culture of overworking. Turnover was extremely high, and these culture issues were ignored by management. The work was very monotonous, and stress was put on completing more than is possible in an 8 hour day. Employees were practically forced to return to the office in March 2021 unless they pushed back really hard. The CEO doesn’t believe in remote work and is doubling down that everyone must be in the office, despite most jobs not really requiring this. Many people work 60-70 hours per week and on weekends. This company claims to be a startup, but employees do not receive stock options. This means that all of that overtime work goes unpaid.
