6yWe do micromanage when performance of an individual is not meeting our customer (or our internal) expectations because our customers expect us to deliver with very high quality. Management and other senior team leads will spend more time with you to make sure the project gets back on the right track and this also helps you improve as an individual and have a long career with us.
I do not believe we are not employee friendly, as we have employees empowered to organize fun activities and outings which the company pays for. There are several other benefits we offer in the workplace that we believe helps us retain employees, many of whom have been with us for several years.
We also believe in free and open 360 degree communication without anyone needing to fear any retribution, and we don't intentionally hide things from our employees that we feel they ought to know.
