Pros

Guaranteed 40. Overtime opportunities. Potential for a bonus each month (very hard to achieve, not individual or department based, entire hospital collection goal) senior team listens and cares about employees if they are able to compensate within the scope of the company.

Cons

Policies are very strict. Nearly every employee is on a final write up for either tardiness or missing regardless of reasoning. Very black and white on policies, management will not put personal situations into consideration (children being sick, yourself, vehicle problems, etc.)

Thanks for your feedback, and for taking the time to share your experience. I did want to respond to respond about our time and attendance policy. Yes, we are very strict about being on time when you work for our company. We do this for many reasons. One of the most important reasons is patient safety and making sure we have the right number of people working at our client hospitals. But it’s also about how we treat our fellow associates. Many members of our team work 12 hour shifts. At the end of a long day, you’re ready to go home. When someone shows up late, for whatever reason, it means that person has to stay at work even longer until the next person arrives. Whether it’s one minute or one hour, it’s not fair to the person having to wait for the late teammate to show up. We’re all in this together at Ensemble to work toward a common goal as a team. Nobody gets a pass on this. If you would like to share more, please contact me by e-mailing telljudson@ensemblehp.com. Thank you for your contributions on behalf of Ensemble, and I wish you all the best in your career. Judson Ivy, CEO, Ensemble Health Partners

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Work remotely 100% of the time.

Cons

DAILY pressure and extreme stress. You will be in constant fight, flight or fear mode. There's a heavy emphasis on productivity, and KPI's without resources, tools or clear direction to accomplish either. They want to be a innovative and forward thinking/moving organization but they're missing the mark. Whatever the client wants, the client gets regardless of the impact it will have on the team and department. We work at the behest of the client, not the other way around. Ensemble started out with good intentions I believe, but somewhere along the way and the pursuit of 'revenue' they've lost their way, with no signs of ever getting 'it' (whatever 'it' is) back. Don't do it! It's not worth your sanity.
