I don't know where to begin. We're so short staffed due to extremely low wages. We get paid half of what we should be, especially for the amount of work. People are leaving left and right, which has caused even more of a workload. Unrealistic expectations for productivity. Productivity is based on each encounter instead of the number of dates of service on one claim, which you could be working a month's worth of dos but is only counted as one, which makes it look like you're not even working. They brought in offshore coders who we have been auditing, although we don't have an auditing certification and no increase in pay to do so. There are so many directives given that are wrong and no one seems to know what is actually going on. There isn't much work/life balance anymore. I'm currently seeking employment elsewhere since the Vice CEO has made it clear we will not be receiving the raises we actually deserve. It's too much aggravation and chaos for the amount of work they expect with very little pay at $16/hr. It's ridiculous actually. They've taken on more clients with a short staff which makes zero sense. Vice CEO more less told us that we should be thankful for our job and money shouldn't matter if you love what you do. Well, I no longer love what I do with the given stress and it barely pays the bills.
