No focus, trying to be in too many industries: pharmaceuticals, catalysts, specialty chemicals, electronics. As a result, they do everything mediocre. No synergy between segments, project management, R&D, Analytical, purchasing, shipping, sourcing, facilities, EH&S, IT and manufacturing departments all have issues with systems, procedures and lack of consistency.
