Recent career framework and designation changes have significantly affected employee morale. Many experienced leaders were moved to individual contributor roles which is like one or 2 level below the current role, that too after spending several years in leadership positions. Along with this people close to senior management received accelerated promotions. No effective communication and transparency through out the process except some townhalls sharing high level info, leaving many employees concerned about their career progression. Many employees also worry that the new IC designations do not accurately reflect their years of leadership experience and may make it more difficult to pursue leadership opportunities outside Envestnet.
