Pros

Roughly 30 full-time software developers, half in Serbia, half in US. Highly competent tech leads and senior developers. Great place for experienced, introverted engineers who want to be left alone to do their work. They have a "no meetings" policy, cherished by the tech leads.

Cons

Morale amongst the software engineers is low. There is an all-pervasive culture of fear. Engineers rarely communicate with one another. Documentation and training is virtually non-existent. This is the proverbial "here's your computer, here's your first ticket, let me know when your done," company.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback. We certainly appreciate the working style of our development group and offer independence in these roles while still operating in a collaborative space. A lot of teams offer “No meeting days” as a way to increase efficiencies and foster creativity. We are always striving to improve our training offerings as well as our documentation efforts. We are concerned to hear about the “culture of fear” and have escalated this to our HR and ETS leaders for appropriate review and action. We expect all team members to uphold and perform with Envision’s values at the forefront of their decisions and actions and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Remote work Flexible work hours

Cons

Future - they have no clue what direction to go in, and each leader had a new idea and restructured. Company instability - 5+ CEOs in 4 years Leadership - it's a running joke, no one stays, and the current leadership cares only about profit Lack of advancement - no advancement paths available Lack of promises - it's always raises next year, or bonuses next time. Overall I did enjoy my time there, but the current state of the company is a mess and I wonder if there is any real future. The technology side of things continues to be one wrong turn after another. And the revolving door of bland horrible CEOs does not help.
