Pros

The children, health benefits, freedom to teach what the children are interested in.

Cons

What's work-life balance? Most nights I had to spend more time lesson planning and prepping than I could with my own children. Rest time is the only time provided for planning, and it's hard to do that when other teachers and floaters are taking breaks; Which, sure, comes with the territory of teaching, but instead of being able to stay late and leave work at work, we were forced to leave at exactly the time all children were gone because the company was worried about getting sued for working while on the grounds. Petty politics, no room for development until you are on the directors good side, the director is two faced and lacks compassion for her employees, teachers in EHS are bullies, no teamwork, "every woman on her own", most teachers are not there to change the cycle. I (personally) had a breakdown due to the months and months of bullying by my co-teacher and her group, and the director rather fired me for being late because I was crying in my car or stuck in bed from the depression and anxiety, instead of fixing the root of the problem. (Not the first time that "teacher" got someone else fired due to her bullying)

Pros

Great Pay Wonderful staff and management

Cons

The building I was in was horrible and lacked supplies. They told us a lot of things in orientation and once you started working you find none of it is true.
