      Pros

      Friendly, enthusiastic employees; free gym in building; great location to take walks (Bay Trail nearby) during lunch or break; generous compensation.

      Cons

      The company is large in some respects, so one frustration you might encounter is a lack of transparency. This makes it hard to find solutions if many departments need to get involved. Also, my department is short-staffed, making my reporting line awkward and clumsy. Actually, I am really bummed about experiencing the brunt of the staffing situation.

      Pros

      Company is strong financially. No chance of layoff. Many opportunities to work overtime if you want extra hours.

      Cons

      Very busy, they need to hire more people.

      Great people in various internal roles.

      Cons

      CRO and Senior leadership failed with execution of their CS REORGANIZATION! They laid off exceptional and tenured talent who were either not replaced or new job requisitions filled with external candidates. Upon making internal employees aware of layoffs, they did so in such a callous manner with complete disregard for humanity. It was literally appalling and disgusting! The ‘Magic of Equinix’ (I belong. I matter. I feel safe.) is no longer present and hasn’t been for over two years. No work life balance. Everyone is just a number so why be an over achiever in such an awful space. Morale is lower than ever!
