Pros

Focus on employees, great CEO and senior executives. Great stock price. Helpful colleagues. Yearly appraisals abolished for more granular reviews.

Cons

Working with cross functional teams can be difficult. Inconsistent KPIs across teams does cause conflict. No real work life balance.

Thank you for your review and for your time working at Equinix. We are glad to hear you were a fan of our new approach to performance management. As we continue to grow and scale as a company, we have found that the best way to create a high-performance growth environment is to offer regular feedback and coaching through more frequent and more meaningful conversations (the "more granular reviews" you mention) that reinforce a growth mindset. Work-life balance is something we strive for every day at Equinix, and something we continue to focus on through the introduction of new well-being classes and events around the globe. Classes and events vary by location and interest level. We hope to expand current offerings with time in order to engage as many employees as possible.

Pros

Hybrid which is nice, for what the job entails pay is ok I suppose at 60k. Every Wednesday there's food for employees.

Cons

Earlier in the year the frisco office was closed down, so many employees including myself who add living arrangements now have to travel 3 days a week to the downtown office. Which is 45 minutes + with traffic. On top of that the shift times suck as someone who appreciates work life balance. 7 am to 7 pm. I would also say that there are many organizational changes and career growth seems limited.
