The 401K matching is stellar. 75 cents on the dollar for the first 12% and then 10% of salary kicked in on top.

Cons

Seniority ways heavily on promotions. A candidate can be better than other applicant with long service time and still lose out. Some Directors can block their employees from taking positions in other departments by declaring them critical.

-From a Power Systems perspective the job provides unique exposures as the ISO operates the entire Interconnection as it's a small island unlike the Eastern and Western interconnections. -Low and Middle management do in fact listen to their employees. -Work culture promotes flexibility and freedom as long as we deliver results. -Work/life balance is generally good compared to other companies.

Cons

-Pay could be better given industry strandard. -Depending on your department lots of after hours working during projects outside the regular job duties. -Referencing the aforementioned con, work/life balance can be poor during projects.
