Pros

I had an amazing Manager and team.

Cons

This is not all the cons by far, but the important ones: - Commonly expected to work 70 hour work weeks - They cap the raise you get for internal promotions. 10% is a miracle, so don't take a lower level job to get your foot in the door, you will get hosed on pay - They didn't back fill my old position as per our agreement when I took my promotion. I was expected to do both roles without additional compensation - They do not care about the people that work there. You are truly like toilet paper, meant to be used and when empty, discarded and replaced - They allow retaliation firings to happen instead of protecting people that file sexual harassment claims (not me, several incidents though) - They often give the alphabets raises, but cut positions lower down - Senior leadership only cares about the financial overlords, not what is best for their customers or their employees

Pros

Some of the key positives of my role include a strong work-life balance, which allows me to maintain productivity while also managing personal responsibilities effectively. I benefit from having a supportive and knowledgeable manager who provides guidance, shares expertise, and fosters a positive working environment. The company’s benefits package is another significant advantage, offering solid support and overall value. Additionally, I genuinely enjoy working with my team—we collaborate well, support one another, and contribute to a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I would consider negative.

Pros

Strong legacy company with experienced employees and solid industry knowledge. Good exposure to category management, supply chain, and private brand operations. Some teams are collaborative and supportive, with opportunities to learn across functions. Stable customer base and broad product assortment. Flexible work environment depending on department and manager.

Cons

Company culture has declined compared to previous years. Frequent organizational changes and shifting priorities create uncertainty. Employee morale and engagement are not as strong as they once were. Communication and leadership alignment could be improved.
