Pros

Take 50+ small (mostly) SaaS companies mush them all all together and create a one stop SaaS shop for small businesses to digitize their companies. This is what you get with EverCommerce (EC). It's a truly unique business model that is not often found. We're a matrixed orginization and we're growing and changing as a rapid clip. To thrive in this environment you need to love change, love the challenge of processes being developed on the fly, knowing that you get to be part of that. You need to be agile and not upset if you have to pivot mid-project to do better. While the history of EC is over 15 years old, the idea of streamlining and bringing all 50+ brands together under one umbrella is less than 5 years old. What does this mean to the average employee/candidate? Lots of FUN and lots of adaptation. It also means there are times where change management and communication are not always at their best, but I would say the leadership does try. Since going public the company is being held to a higher standard, a more equitable and ethical standard. We are focusing on DEIB and the overall health of each employee. EC truly wants you to come to work as your authentic self and thrive as a human. These changes have not always come easy and there are many more to come, but again, I do think the leadership tries to make the best decision for current employees and the future of the company. Hard decisions have been made, but throughout it all, those that embrace one of our core values of thriving in change, have been successful. So if you're looking for a company where you can truly feel like you have made a mark, not only on your company, but in the lives of small business owners, EverCommerce is a great place to be.

Cons

Sometime communication about what is coming next is lacking. Part of this, I believe is because things are changing quickly. The defined vision needs to be better communicated by the leadership team downwards. We all know/assume things are coming down the line, at times it would be great to share these with those that are in the daily trenches of work. It's not a con, but more of an observation. The employees at the solution level often feel they are excluded from the bigger picture and left to try to hold onto what was before they were aquired. Celebrating some of the amazing cultures the solutions teams have across the greater EC family would be amazing. Sometimes decisions are made in silo's and other parts of EC are not involved even though it impacts us.

Pros

I work in the EverHealth division. Colleagues are friendly and quick to help. Diversity is a founding value--and for a guy not so much on that bandwagon (due to the political bent) I am astonished that this company walks their talk. Diversity of thought is protected and respected. I really admire this. Managers are communicative and and eager to help you succeed. There is a sense of ownership at all levels. This traces back to another founding value that everyone wins or loses together. It's the primary reason I pursued this company and they walk the talk here as well. Collaboration between all levels is fantastic. I've not encountered any "silos" among teams or groups which reflects well on both the leadership and the people.

Cons

Products need some help. But there's always a difference between the way a product looks through the lens of marketing vs customers. This is normal and expected. To be fair--the company is investing in the products and paying attention to customer feedback which is encouraging.
