I will say that in my tenure at Evergreen (formerly EmpRes Healthcare), I have been able to work with some of the best humans out there. The collaborative and hard-working spirit that everyone brings to their work is wonderful. The atmosphere that is created at our headquarters sets the tone for so much that happens out in our communities where our healthcare providers are giving so much!

Cons

We have gone through big changes over the past few years, and are positioned for a great future, but that doesn't come without feelings and emotions being all over the place. I love seeing teams and team members being there for one another and supporting other teams and communities as we grow in those new and uncharted areas as a company.

One of the best parts of working as an Activity Assistant is seeing the smiles on my residents' faces. It's absolutely heartwarming and brings me so much happiness knowing I can make a positive difference in their day. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. ❤️

Cons

One of the hardest parts of working as an Activity Assistant is watching residents decline in health or lose their independence. It can be emotionally difficult to build close relationships and then experience loss. Some days are physically and mentally exhausting, but despite the challenges, being able to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to my residents makes it all worthwhile.
