Pros

Higher pay (we get paid per visit), Usually plenty of work. less corporate feeling than Signature Home Health. Some really awesome coworkers.

Cons

Their Glassdoor.com page used to be called “Eden Home Health” and they had dozens of poor reviews. I assume they created a new page. Unorganized with almost no training program. Unclear who does what in terms of job duties. Poor communication between office staff and clinicians. It is not unusual for an officer staffer to send pugnacious emails. High turn-over rate for both staff and clinicians. Mediocre benefits which are increasingly more difficult to attain (number of visits increased).

Pros

One of the best parts of working as an Activity Assistant is seeing the smiles on my residents' faces. It's absolutely heartwarming and brings me so much happiness knowing I can make a positive difference in their day. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. ❤️

Cons

One of the hardest parts of working as an Activity Assistant is watching residents decline in health or lose their independence. It can be emotionally difficult to build close relationships and then experience loss. Some days are physically and mentally exhausting, but despite the challenges, being able to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to my residents makes it all worthwhile.
