Pros
They are a large company and have a lot of resources for employees. Most impressively, they seem to be very focused on ensuring your success and moving you up the ladders when you are ready. There are people in my office who were not even wanting a promotion and they were trying very hard to match them up with a job they liked.
Cons
Work/Life balance is a bit tough with this job. Inclement weather or not you are expected to be at work and be on time. They do not offer a lot in the way of flexible time. If you work for Evergy be ready for the very structured 8-5 with two breaks and a lunch. If you want freedom in your schedule then this is probably not the place for you.
