Pros

If you work at a plant, you'll meet some of the best people that you could ever work with. There are so many great people and a great benefits package that comes with working here. The hours are good and the upward mobility is very available!

Cons

Some of the work can be very dirty, messy, bad for long term health issues and the insurance can be a little pricy for a family. The corporate politics can be harsh and cutthroat. Some projects can be delayed months and even years because of budget constraints. Finally, base pay for engineers has been cut down and is considerably lower than other jobs starting out. This changes quickly though and compensation increases.
