Pros

Great relationship development opportunities with clients, general and electrical contractors, as well as sales representatives, front-line workers, and management. The office in San Diego is pretty spacious, and they offer free coffee/tea as well as free food during monthly events (great news for broke post-grads like me). It is a great place to work for if you're interested in a niche industry, and my advice would be to learn as much as possible early on for career growth opportunities and promotions.

Cons

Pay could be a bit better considering the tasks that coordinators have. I started as an intern, and after hiring me on full-time I was offered the same pay (tough for San Diego). Sometimes, it feels like an IT position rather than a coordinator because of the tasks you take on. Things can get repetitive, but thankfully management is involved as much as you want them to be. Currently in a transition phase (previously owned by ADT but recently became independent). This has caused a lot of changes and confusion across the board.

Pros

The company cares deeply about the experience of both their customers and employees. Like most companies, they have defined core values (Core Excellence Drivers), but they actually strive to achieve them here. Employees are directly highlighted in 1 of those 5 core values. The teams on the Operations side of the business communicate and work extremely well together. This company is the best I have ever worked for and it genuinely feels like a family.

Cons

Benefits are very expensive, at least in my opinion, especially for those with a family. Other than that, it is apparent that Everon really thinks about and considers what the employee experience is like, and strives to make it the best workplace they can.

Pros

There are great people to work and grow with at local offices and good product to meet customer needs.

Cons

Not sure it is the same in other districts, but here in AZ district, there is a clear double standard, sever micromanaging and being verbally threatened by the manager running it daily. There has been a lot of recent turnover due to this, most people won't say anything due to fear of retaliation and overall morale is in the dumps. It is hard to continue to build something knowing that 1 individual only views numbers on a report and not the people behind it.
