Pros
- The people that work here are all incredibly smart and talented. - People farther along in their careers are extremely willing to spend a little extra time and effort to help develop junior employees. - Things move very fast so you will never be bored, and you will learn and do a TON! Most people here equate a few months at Evolent with a year+ anywhere else. - A lot of attention is paid to the continued development of the culture which is appreciated. - If there is an issue that has been identified, a lot of effort will be made to solve for it.
Cons
- Can be unclear what merits promotions /raises. - The typical issues that can occur with a "start-up" organization that employs over 600 people. - Your personal satisfaction (and work/life balance) is usually pretty dependent upon your manager /their expectations but that happens anywhere. - if you can't multi-task or constantly re-prioritize over the course of a given day/week, you might not succeed here.
