Where to start? We're also so demoralized that some departments are having interviews to see how they can get people to stay. You can't fill out a survey there because nothing is anonymous so they will track you down if you say anything negative. It's a men's club. If you hang out with the right people, you get a promotion. If you are a woman or a man who prefers going home instead of drinking with the boys, you pay the price. They spend tons of money on things that don't matter, such as entertaining lavishly but plead cost optimization when you ask for more money to do your job. No one volunteers for anything, because you're not rewarded. Then they try to have team building exercises and wonder why no one is interested in participating. We're all leaving because unless you're a man who already has drinking buddies there, you have nothing coming.
Not good for your health, mentally or physically. They have health challenges, but then they turn around and have cookoffs and wing eating challenges.
They are all about talent acquisition instead of talent retention. When you join, they make sure to lowball you and no one is allowed to know their salary range, so of course, you get the short end of the stick.
