Pros

Management is approachable department has monthly meetings with upper management and VP’s there *were* bonuses.

Cons

Management sometimes barely or not available upper management approve policies that don’t make sense total loss quite literally corrects every other departments mistakes. I cannot overstate exactly how much we clean up everyone else’s mess. Customer service department near incompetent. Every department always transfers to total loss when the account is not even in the department list, like a hair trigger. no real work life balance anymore due to working from home expects you to use pto for things you cannot control such as power outages or internet disruptions, or even the winter storm that froze texas over bonuses used to be department wide, now are going on arbitrary scorecard, recently learned that total loss department bonus is now dependent on other departments. have lied about previous bonus requirements not being met but just don’t want to pay. It seems like they don’t want to pay out to maximize profits due to new owners and public shareholders Management pretends to care about employee well-being, but guilts you for trying to take off for your mental health Gives you recognition instead of actually paying better salary give recognition to employees whose work numbers look good and high, but do poor work. Literally pays in trinkets, snacks and a free T-shirt instead of paying a better, more competitive wage
