Pros
- Company offers free lunches and stock lot's of soft drinks in the fridges - Sharesave scheme - Executive team are all well thought of and it's no coincidence that almost all of them have been in the business for a number of years.
Cons
- Middle Management: It's not an exaggeration to say that Experian has some truly awful mid level managers. They tend to be Experian lifers who end up in there roles purely through length of service, rather than ability. In particularly the Nationals Sales division is an absolute shambles and a restructure in this area has cost the business huge amounts of revenue in the last financial year. Lots of experience leaving and being replaced by apprentices or young grads. - An extreme approach to flexible working, which has lost all atmosphere in the office and has led to a sharp decline in performance. - For sales, the commission plans have been massively changed and earning potential has massively declined. Unfortunately, Experian are also below average payers when it comes to basic salary.
