Pros

Had to think long and hard about this one, but the recruiters across both offices are genuinely nice people to be around with similar like minded conversations. It seems like most people are not happy with their position but grind 'just because', this tends to be everybody's first real job so the expected reality of adult life seems to set in, but in reality it could be described as a concentration camp at times. There are good days (hours), once you have got a good deal in, you are best friends with everybody but within hours the hard work is soon forgotten and you are dragged into constant meetings asking why you have not called anybody in the last 30 seconds.

Cons

The little meetings and Chinese whispers from the top filtering down to the bottom, the expectation of working EVERY weekend. Expect to see your friends at Christmas only (if you are lucky). I worked within a good market to begin with that I enjoyed but got moved to 'general resourcing' towards the end before I left, it seems team leaders are running out of ideas and not working to peoples strengths. I once went out for a cig, it took me 3 minutes and my team leader pulled me into the kitchen (yes expect meetings in a kitchen) to ask why I took so long. Expect 12 months minimum before you get promoted, I hit all my targets yet the goal posts continually move and I still was not promoted, they will prolong and drag this out as long as possible so they get their extra 2.5% each of your comms.
