Pros
I worked in the Reading office for a little over a year and it was such a good experience. It was tough at first but things become easier as time went on. I initially reported directly to Courtenay (One of the directors) who gets my ratings as his tough approach to training shaped me into a better consultant. A big shout out to Kashif Ali who was my team leader in the Reading office, under his tutelage and guidance I closed multiple deals and even hit the holiday incentive to Bulgaria. He made my time at Explore enjoyable and fun. He was my mentor, a true role model but most of all a good friend. In a nutshell, if you smash the phones and actually follow things up you WILL do deals. Everyone who leaves a bad review or says recruitment is crap just doesn't have the work ethic and/or the ability to succeed.
Cons
Working hours were a massive turn off for me. I found myself not working at my best as I lacked a proper work life balance. Coming into the office at 8:00 and leaving at 18:45 at the EARLIEST. I agree you need to put the hours in to do well but it just didn't out work for me.
