Pros
Benefits is the only thing I could mention.
Cons
Where do we start....well if you are thinking of going into management be prepared to enslave yourself, have little to no life& be under a constant state of stress and anxiety. Hotel managers & Gm's on call. 24-7. If an employee calls out & you cannot find anyone you will be covering it even if its the overnight shift. District management does nothelp here nor care how exhausted you are even if you had already worked a 10/11 shift that day. Being short staffed is the norm for this company. Hotel managers expected to do just about everything under the sun with no little thanks. If you score anything below a 9 on a guest survey, ( lets say an 8- which is still a good score) you will basically be scolded like a child. Ridiculous. Upper management only cares about the numbers so they can score a good bonus for themselves. They act like they care about employees but honestly, they really don't. Hotels are constantly getting run down because they are cheaply ran. Lots of criminals in and out of the hotel and company does want to pay for security...which guess what?! That means you are a security guard too. Cannot count how many times my life ( and staff employees) lifes have been endangered by dangerous guests. Whats funnier is that when (most) incidents have happened and you file the incident reports about it, nothing gets done or said. They just want to sweep things under the rug.
