Pros
Been with with job for just over 3 years, and I started out as part time, just over a year later, I was promoted to full time. The full time benefits are great, vacation pay, sick pay, and 4 personal days a year. The health insurance benefits is well worth, finally being able to go to the go the doctor and have my bills taken care of. The hotel staff is small, so you instantly feel like you're part of the family. The management we have now is beyond helpful, and they definitely know what they're doing. It's not a big hotel, so that takes some stress away. Since this is an extended stay type hotel, a lot of the guests here are long term and most of them are very friendly, and you can easily build a rapport with the guests. The hotel is open 365 days, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so getting hours is not an issue. It is also easy to move up in the company, and possibly even expand your career to other properties. This job is also a great place to work on customer service skills.
Cons
Hotel is 20 years old, but it is getting remodeled in 2016. No elevator, but it's only 3 stories, and you get an excellent work out.
