Pros

- Very engaging work environment, teams there are passionate and have the tenacity to meet quotas and goals - Senior management are all highly intelligent, know which models to follow to become world class - If you're a standout employee you will move up fast - Managment and ownership have stuck to their visions plan and doesn't BS like a lot of places - Company is now relatively large but management is still very approachable. Any one can get a hold of a VP - Passionate work environment - time there goes by quick - Management and ownership truly care about quality, safety, and their customers - Ownership not scared to make large capital investments (they make a lot of them) - IT/Engineering/Operarions infrastructure is top tier. Competitors like Fiera, Weston, Canada Bread, Chudleighs, and Give&Go don't compare in terms of equipment, and plant cleanliness - Bonus for salaried employees is comparable to a Fortune 500 company's - Management is very open to suggestions. A lot of their equipment and software is propritory so everything is addressed fast

Cons

- In all fairness no one is perfect but fgf brands is pretty close - fgf brands is not for everyone. For those who want to coast and not hold accountability this is not the place for you

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexible hybrid work.

Cons

Constant layoffs. I was laid off 7 months after starting, while on a business trip in a Kroger parking lot, with no explanation given. Layoff process was pathetic, no communication and had to threaten a lawyer to receive my severance payout. American politics are often discussed by Canadian upper management. Foul, unprofessional language is frequently used. Very unprofessional, unstable work environment. I would recommend looking anywhere else for employment.
