Pros
The salary is competitive, benefits are decent, and there is an attempt to maintain a work/life balance. But how is one to enjoy that benefit when they devalue you as a human being?
Cons
There are many reviews about toxic leadership. Not only is this true, but there is a basic lack of respect for employees from management. Senior partners treat staff like independent vendors. I was not your vendor, I was your employee. I value collaboration and there was little of that. The experience felt very "Lord of the Flies," meaning it was every person for themselves. And favoritism was unlike anything that I have encountered before or since. This ties into my comment about the lack of basic decency. The toxicity truly was like nothing that I have experienced and it took a toll on my mental health, and I was not alone in that based on discussions with other staff. It is a relief to move on.
