Pros

Above average pay and great benefits. Job is mostly administrative work for five attorneys, all of whom are great people to work with.

Cons

Tough commute from suburbs. You are given a book on your first day and that's your training. You are the only paralegal in the office and reaching out to a paralegal in another office with a question will get you reprimanded. You learn entirely by making mistakes and no other way. It's a confidence killer. The company touts work/life balance, but this manager isn't on board.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We agree with you that training is essential for the success of new employees, which is why the Enforcement department revised its training for new employees in January 2019. Now new Enforcement employees complete a six-month new hire training program. The program includes a checklist/roadmap with a director and peer mentoring throughout the first six months on the job and at regular intervals thereafter. We also offer several training opportunities a month to supplement the learning that occurs via the new hire program, on the job and over time. We hope these changes improve the experience for future employees.

Pros

The hybrid work schedule and the flexibility I am afforded in addition to excellent benefits.

Cons

Lots of folks don't do their job and aren't let go.

Pros

Some of the nicest and most helpful people, but fewer as they keep getting laid off or pushed out because of toxic leadership. The mission is a high priority for some. Great place to work for a very short time, then go.

Cons

Poor leadership, constantly changing without taking any time to understand impacts. Decisions only benefit a small group of friends who only respect other former FBI agents and their contributions. Morale is in the gutter and it comes off as intentional. Women are disappearing from management ranks and only tolerated as long as they are agreeable. People get resources based on popularity with the in group so some teams burn out while others have little to do.
