Employee stock ownership is a plus, but pay is low - Design Engineer FORTÉ Employee Review

Currently it is a Great experience. Much improved over a few years ago.

Some minor small items in the grand scheme of things.

A lot of the employees are great to work with. ESOP is a plus. Location is good. Parking is good.

Where do I even begin? Pay is low for the Bay Area and for the space this company is in.. A lot of the employees are great to work with but the clique of employees who worked with each other at another company is blindingly rampant and shows of favoritism for outsiders. Management is inconsistent about performance and punishment for employees who are NOT good at what they do and for dedicated employees who were given an impossible task. Performance reviews are not done in a timely fashion. Communication is not great between colleagues.
