Pros

My managers really tried to place me in projects I found interest in. They believed in my potential and pushed me to deliver. I gained confidence in certain soft skills with their guidance. The managers/art directors/creative directors were all extremely hardworking and talented. Tight deadlines taught me that I just need to get the job done and doesn't need to be great.

Cons

Felt micromanaged at times in contrast to my previous employer. Ineffective workflow. I'd get creative asks from different people and everything is due yesterday. Terrible design file management, but hopefully it has improved now. Not enough pushback from managers when it came to impossible deadlines resulting in long hours, or just creating very mediocre work. We were scheduled to work weekends, and no we didn't get paid overtime. Certain clients and execs were extremely hard to work with. So many mandatory trainings that really didn't involve designers. For what they charge clients, Designers are getting extremely underpaid. I truly did appreciate my time there, but that environment wasn't for me.
