Pros
Great pay and benefits. Many genuinely good, if misguided, people. Expensive quarterly off-site social activities for corporate communications employees.
Cons
Senior managers have spent their life in this organization. There's no outside perspective at all. Technology infrastructure was seriously outdated. The IT department was bloated and had no accountability. Glaring lack of tolerance for diversity in rural hospitals and those who knew better laughed it off and looked the other way. Infighting between Fairview and the U of M.
