Pros
I loved my weekend team. We worked a lot of the same shifts. Strong coworker comradary was only saving grace. We got a free state fair ticket once.
Cons
-Top heavy, mgmt is incompetent; they need to take a refresher course on how to lead during a merger. I don't understand how managers with high turnover are allowed to keep their jobs and keep blowing money. -High turnover due to hiring poor fits, orientation doesn't make sense. -Always short on nights. -Inconsistent discipline. -Mgmt does not validate staff complaints and are dismissive. -Middle mgmt plays favorites and black balls others. -Mgmt is only worried about numbers, a nurse is a nurse and everyone is replaceable. -Mgmt will keep a list of complaints over an entire year and then bring them all to your attention all at once. Anything and everything will be used against you. This is a non union hospital so leadership can do whatever they want. -Patients aren't patients anymore, but "customers". If you get a complaint, it will be brought to your attention. There is zero benefit of the doubt. You will be thrown under the bus by your "leaders".
