Pros
Good compensation. work hours are pretty consistent, which in construction is not always the easiest. If they can avoid me working long hours they will which is nice. Everyone is friendly. They have a helpful CAD and Revit department with some decent standards in place, and they are always looking to improve on or create more standards to give a better end product.
Cons
Benefits are alright, when I first started I wasn't thrilled with some of the benefits compared to my last job but over the one year I've been here they have already gotten much better so I'm hoping that trend will continue over the next couple years and the company grows. The only other problem I've had and it's not so much a problem but compared to my last job is a big eye opener, is when I started and moved offices no one took me around to introduce me to people. so I just started not knowing anyone and that continued to remain since no one went out of their way to introduce themselves to me either. Unless I reached out to people it can be pretty lonely. at my last job everyone would make pushes to hang out at lunch or after work for a little bit and get to know one another. no one has been mean to me or anything just much more secluded.
