Pros

I used to work as a captive agent for a carrier, but I disliked the culture. I decided to make the leap to an IMO and become an independent agent. I love being an independent agent. My time now my time and if I chose to work, I work, even if you work 60 hours a week you feel freer being accountable to yourself. The comp is outstanding, and I have no limits on me and my time which makes me work harder!

Cons

If you don't work hard and learn how to sell you will not succeed.

-A level sales training -High number of quality Insurance Companies to be contracted with -Flexible Schedule, 1099 Freedom

- Seen some agents not get enough support (Find good upline) - Be ready to work it's entrepreneurship - Lead cost can be scary for some
