Pros

My career has been derailed. Just in time, as I've worked my butt off for over a decade to get where I'm at - square one. There's a huge blemish on my resume now, that I can't hide. 70 hour workweeks will net you a check similar to the ones you're used to. The amount of physical locations the company has is a clear indication of the cohesiveness. They went out of their wait to show you everything you need to know! You just won't see it right away - it'll likely have a team logo on it. Management is absolutely superb at demonstrating their how incompetent they are. These are the most inept, floudering group of inbiciles I've ever come across. If selling sports merchandise wasn't so lucrative, they'd have an amazing opportunity doing a reality show. No one would believe that this is a real functional company.

Cons

Fanatics, as a whole, is the most deceptive, abusive company I have ever worked for. The pay scale across the board is ridiculously low, unless you're in management. Customer service leads make more than I.T. leads, for example. Management has absolutely no idea what they are doing with anything. Every project that is attempted looks like a circus performed by the mentally challenged. No direction, no accountability, and absolutely no integrity. The lack of respect from anyone is this company runs deep. It shows, and has many examples in every department, and every level. They treat everyone as disposable, and those that have a little bit of clout, participate in a wang measuring contest daily. Watch out, or you'll quickly find yourself standing in the middle holding the ruler. I could go on, but to be honest, it's exhausting. See for yourself if you'd like, but please have a backup plan.

Pros

Part of Fanatics Betting and Gaming -Work/Life Balance: managers really stress keeping good work/life balance. When I told mine that I had to work a couple extra hours to finish something before a sprint they told me to take another couple hours off during the next week or so. Also, half-day Fridays in the summer! -Remote work. -Smart, driven developers. -Good benefits package.

Cons

-A bit of a start-up nature causes some odd, sporadic development blockers. Not a big enough deal, but can be an annoyance.

Pros

This is specifically for Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG), as I can't speak on the other lines of business. - autonomous work with the freedom to really put your stamp on projects - minimal red tape, allowing you to execute and move swiftly - full remote culture, with the expectation to respect employee calendars - stability- the company is careful not to overhire and retain its employees - the people- despite being remote, I feel close to my team and work around people who really believe in the mission and products we provide

Cons

- Remote work is not for everyone. If you aren't letting management know what you are working on, it can sometimes slip through the cracks. - Full autonomy is a double edge sword. It's fantastic for those who feel like their work is often hindered by unnecessary red tape, but it can be a struggle for those who work better with a set structure and routine. - Technology has been improving and the commitment to leveraging AI tools is encouraging, but there is still a bit of manual work still that can lead to human error. - benefits and pay are fair here, but you have to dig a bit to fully utilize all the benefits we have.
