Pros
Farmers brand is pretty strong and they do seem to come through with claims payment for their customers unlike a lot of less reputable insurers. My District Manager's office is very helpful and there if you need them for advice or help.
Cons
Training is very hands off. There are plenty of online resources to use along with the District Manager's office, but there is no structure. Also, compensation is 100% commission (+ loan subsidies once you hit your reserve agent quota which means they're literally taking no risk on you even after you've proven yourself). If you aren't a super extroverted person with a huge network of friends or someone with a large bank account that is willing to spend their own money on marketing, then this might not be the right job for you.
