Pros
Mostly positive people to work with. The starting pay is fair.
Cons
My experience may be an anomaly. I was hired along with a group who had prior experience in the auto insurance industry. As a newbie, I could've benefited from my supervisor more. She was more concerned with how I was going to boost her team performance than she was with actually training me. I wasn't keeping up and she told me I am not a critical thinker as she rolled her eyes. You can't come back from that. I felt very "less than" and terrible every day. With that, we were told there was "a glitch" with the phone lines that flooded the trainees' lines earlier than what our training agenda outlined, which forced us to process claims without knowing to complete the steps. It was okay for the rest of the group who had prior experience, but I was a deer in headlights. I had 6 claims the first day which means I was 5 claims behind from day one. When I was let go 2 days into the final week of training, my supervisor and her support person did not show the same courtesy of showing their faces on screen as I did.
