Pros
Farrans has some inspiring, ambitious and fair leaders at the helm. I think they're driving the company in the right direction and I genuinely believe that people here work very hard and give their best. No workplace is ever perfect but I feel everyone gets a fair chance at Farrans, with good working conditions, benefits like BUPA healthcare insurance and progressive policies around Flexible Working and Maternity. I think the vast majority of colleagues genuinely care about each others' wellbeing. I continue to recommend Farrans as a good place to work.
Cons
The nature of our sites being spread across Ireland and the UK, as well as the flexible working policy bringing more remote working means that it may take new employees a while longer to meet their colleagues and familiarise themselves with the business, especially if office-based. However, I think this is the case for the majority of organisations post-Covid and it is a 'pro' for many employees, allowing you to have flexibility but also take ownership of your own workload.
