Pros

Not bad for a younger person to get some decent pay (though there are a lot of old timers that have been here 10+ years and never went into management) Good Benefits and generally fun coworkers.

Cons

The customers make this job almost unbearable most days. They expect us to drop everything we are doing to run their projects while they wait, and piss and moan when we tell them we need to place an order for a later time. We are expected to say "yes we can" to every order, but this is physically impossible sometimes. When the customers arnt pressing us for due times, we have the idiots that cant find the big green start button on the copier, or seem to think that the fax is some cutting edge piece of technology that will explode if they press the wrong button. Seriously, I dont understand how some of these people have made it though life without just trying something before flagging us down to show them how to make a copy. The company is getting a corporate squeeze placed on it, and it doesnt matter how well we do each month, one mess up is all it takes to ruin all of our scores. Its not "you got 98% good job" its "You missed 2% how can we improve?" We get audited on EVERYTHING, all the way down to how long we take to process a fedex package.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and supportive team environment. Gained strong customer service and communication skills while helping with printing, shipping, and handling different types of orders.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement since you often have to wait for someone to leave before moving up.

Pros

Good work life balance, hours are flexible, team members are pretty nice overall, benefits are good, company is stable and job security is good

Cons

Way too many things to remember, they say “you don't have to remember everything, just know where you can figure it out” and thats all fine and good but there are so many places to go and you have to know where, and despite what they say there are things you cant find anywhere and just have to know, so many systems are just confusing and have no real guidelines to follow, and thats not to mention that every manager has there own places where they do it either the fedex way or their own way, and you never know until you get called out for doing something. Pay is also pretty low and the only way to make more is take on management roles
