Pros

Coworkers are amazing people. Employer organized community improvement events. Modest health benefits for a startup company. Employer sponsored dinners/events. Beer on tap, bagels and/or donuts provided on Fridays

Cons

The headquarters in Woodland Hills is an open-office environment. The company is a start-up experiencing a few growing pains. “Opportunity for growth” has been a carrot dangled in front of employees that rarely materializes. Here, you’re not “Going for the Gap,” you’re falling into a rut. The company touts transparency, but they also have their support team in the Philippines with “Based in Los Angeles” in their E-mail signature. Other Cons: Extremely political environment. Management openly berating employees. Company principles are more of a “Rules for thee not for me” by middle management Vertical movement within company is nearly impossible. Best you can hope for is a lateral position. Terrible time management by higher ups. Scheduled meetings/reviews will be rescheduled, repeatedly.

We always appreciate feedback as we are constantly attempting to improve. We are surprised at some of your comments as we have made a tremendous effort to accelerate the growth of our people and our business. Our core tenet as a company is Empowering People as evidenced by the many (once) entry-level employees that have been promoted to Vice President, Senior Directors, Directors, Senior Managers, as well as Supervisors and Team Leads. We also have a dedicated People Empowerment Manager whose sole responsibility is engaging with our people to understand their challenges, get feedback, and ensure that senior management is acting on that feedback. With a core principle being "No Egos" - among others - it is unacceptable that any managers "berate" employees and that would not and will never be tolerated. The monthly lunches with senior management and our employees are intended to elicit their feedback about how we can improve. Our CEO and co-founders are accessible to every team member and are actively soliciting feedback. We have scheduled a company-wide meeting where every team member is able to submit any questions they have to ask our CEO in as transparent a format as possible. Even with all our efforts to grow our people professionally and personally, with us providing personalized one-on-one coaching for many of our team members, we cannot assure everyone that they will receive promotions and accelerate through the organization. Much of that is dependent on the individual employee and the growth that we have to sustain to ensure opportunities for all of our people. It seems that you definitely did not experience the growth you hoped for and that is always a good reason to move somewhere else to find that. We are happy to hear you mention the amazing people we have at the company which to some extent must have something to do with our special culture. Great people thrive in our environment. With respect to our transparency, we do not hide our international footprint and openly speak about our distributed teams in The Philippines, India, United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Latin America, and offices throughout the United States. We are very proud of our global reach and 24/7 support for some of the biggest and most reputable brands in the world. We recognize that we can't make every employee happy but we really do try to keep open lines of communication and speak openly about us not being the right fit for everyone. Without us sustaining our growth, our ability to find constant upward mobility for our people will be impacted. We live every day trying to create that opportunity for our amazing team members.

Pros

The company has a robust product training program for new employees, with a self-paced online curriculum and the guidance of an instructor.

Cons

I joined the company in early 2025 as part of the sales organization (account management). Shortly thereafter—while I was still in training—I was let go without being provided a clear reason. I had only one brief meeting with my manager and hadn’t received any performance feedback. I was instructed to focus on learning the product and following the onboarding process. During training, I ran into some challenges with a technical assignment involving a skill that hadn’t been discussed during interviews. I proactively asked for support, but shortly afterward, my employment was ended. I attempted to follow up with leadership and HR, but did not receive a response. To this day, I have no understanding of what led to that outcome. While I recognize that all companies have different expectations, I would have appreciated clearer communication or a chance to adjust. I’m sharing this because my experience didn’t match the company’s public reputation. For future employees, I hope the organization creates more transparency and fosters a more dignified experience for their people, especially during difficult decisions.
