Pros

I've worked for Feedonomics for over a year now. I joined the company because I was looking for a respectful culture that valued the people within the organization. I have loved my time here because the leaders have always been open to change and celebrated new ideas that help the people and the company succeed. One of the best things about working at Feedonomics is the transparency of the leadership's decisions and the fact that no matter what's going on you always have someone to help you get past a problem. The CEO has his door open and invites you to take things all the way to the top if you feel there is something that needs to be changed and you're just not getting the results you need. That being said, all of the leaders across the organization care deeply about their teams and build systems to help them succeed and grow into new positions. The progression within the company is based on what you contribute not your previous title or items on your resume. I greatly appreciate that because it allows us to elevate people to the positions they are best suited for and instead of simply advancing people based on tenure. Pros: - Great community culture where people care about each other - Great leadership looking to help their team get the things they need to succeed while also being considerate of other teams in the process - Innovation focused, change is welcome and encouraged, if it improves the company they remove roadblocks and help it through - Dedication to understanding the goals, concerns, and ideas of the individual - Respect for the client and the workers, the company delivers excellent service to the clients but also protects and backs up the workers when they need it, in an industry so heavily focused on service this can be hard to find and a great example of their care for their team.

Cons

Growing pains are part of every company I've worked for over the past 10 years, this can be especially true of tech companies since their industries, products, and workforce can be particularly green. This company's challenges are no different but because they focus on honest discussions of the problems and collaborate on solutions they are able to tackle them decisively and dedicate to progress over time. Scaling up a team can be very difficult and identifying, coaching, and elevating new leaders can be a struggle. Thankfully, the company's focus on mentorship and creating a learning environment are core tenets of the culture, with that focus they are able to avoid a lot of the pitfalls of simply promoting someone and leaving them to fend for themselves. Cons: - Timing when to scale can be difficult and in the past, they have found they scaled too late. Over the past year, this has improved greatly, and must be noted is a complication of their success as a company. - Organizational shifts may make career trajectories unclear, there is a lot of switching of positions within the company, which is great because of the freedom it provides people to pick a path more suited to them. However, it can still be unclear at times what a person's end goal could be within the organization. Again this is a complication of scaling up, and many people find their niche eventually as the company scales up and expand their departments

It sounds like this is coming from some of the "boots on the ground", so this feedback could not be more valuable and appreciated. We are growing aggressively and experiencing changes monthly, weekly and even daily. It is important that we remember the impact that has on everyone, so thank you for the reminder. As you know, we recently brought in someone to manage our People Empowerment practice which will focus on increasing visibility around organizational development and where we are going as a team. This input will go directly to that person so we can pay special attention to the goals of individuals. I'm glad to have someone like you on the team.

Pros

The company has a robust product training program for new employees, with a self-paced online curriculum and the guidance of an instructor.

Cons

I joined the company in early 2025 as part of the sales organization (account management). Shortly thereafter—while I was still in training—I was let go without being provided a clear reason. I had only one brief meeting with my manager and hadn’t received any performance feedback. I was instructed to focus on learning the product and following the onboarding process. During training, I ran into some challenges with a technical assignment involving a skill that hadn’t been discussed during interviews. I proactively asked for support, but shortly afterward, my employment was ended. I attempted to follow up with leadership and HR, but did not receive a response. To this day, I have no understanding of what led to that outcome. While I recognize that all companies have different expectations, I would have appreciated clearer communication or a chance to adjust. I’m sharing this because my experience didn’t match the company’s public reputation. For future employees, I hope the organization creates more transparency and fosters a more dignified experience for their people, especially during difficult decisions.
