Pros

Most of the people here are very modest, smart, and ready to help you when you have a problem. There is room for career growth.... if you know the right people and push hard enough.

Cons

Shawn is very smart and also transparent, but his overall demeanor has changed a lot over the last year. Maybe it’s due to the stress of trying to manage a fast growing company. People are overworked. Instead of hiring more people, they pile on more and more work on the existing employees until they are spread extremely thin. What used to be a more laid-back and genuine work culture, has now turned into a typical client/agency environment. The client now comes first, no matter what the cost might be. Revenue and client happiness now surpasses employee happiness/satisfaction. Things could go downhill very quickly at this rate. Employee retention used to be quite high, but now it’s began to decline.

We appreciate your input. You are right, we are growing at a very fast rate - an exciting problem to have! This also happens to be the busiest time of the year for us. Regardless, our focus as a company, and the directive of the People Empowerment department, is to maintain a human-first approach to everything we do. Our only goal for this year was to weather the challenges of COVID, while keeping all of our team members. To focus on people at the same time, Shawn has met one on one with every single team member in the Company. Not an easy task when we have close to 250 people - but we’re doing our best! We were glad to see that the Annual Pulse Survey reflected a high satisfaction rate among our Feedos. We do agree with you that our obsessive focus on “client happiness” is paramount and the reason why we are growing and being able to provide better compensation and benefits. Without our clients and the phenomenal reputation we work for every day, we would not be here. Hiring will also continue to be a part of our strategy - we have hired over 45 team members since June. That will persist as long as our client base continues, with each new hire coming in with the understanding that while we are here to support our clients, we also need to look out for each other and Keep a Blue Head. As we increase our family even more, we will look to improve upon the package of benefits we have already implemented. We actually did implement a 401k match for 2020, and we hope to be able improve on it every year. However, we will never lose sight of a human-first mentality, which is at the heart of our Legacy Principles. That is our commitment.

Pros

The company has a robust product training program for new employees, with a self-paced online curriculum and the guidance of an instructor.

Cons

I joined the company in early 2025 as part of the sales organization (account management). Shortly thereafter—while I was still in training—I was let go without being provided a clear reason. I had only one brief meeting with my manager and hadn’t received any performance feedback. I was instructed to focus on learning the product and following the onboarding process. During training, I ran into some challenges with a technical assignment involving a skill that hadn’t been discussed during interviews. I proactively asked for support, but shortly afterward, my employment was ended. I attempted to follow up with leadership and HR, but did not receive a response. To this day, I have no understanding of what led to that outcome. While I recognize that all companies have different expectations, I would have appreciated clearer communication or a chance to adjust. I’m sharing this because my experience didn’t match the company’s public reputation. For future employees, I hope the organization creates more transparency and fosters a more dignified experience for their people, especially during difficult decisions.
