Pros

A lot of companies talk about the importance of their culture during your interview process, but few offer much to show for it once you're hired. After accepting an offer at Feedonomics a little over two years ago, I had a suspicion that they meant it just by the materials provided. But watching how the leadership has maintained that sense of company culture as we've doubled in size, adapted to a remote-first environment and went through an acquisition has been nothing short of impressive. What this translates to while working here? From day one I've found that no individual in any department, at any level of leadership (up to the CEO), has been anything less than happy to answer questions, provide guidance, or put some time on the calendar to chat through things if asked. Personalities we've got a lot of... Ego, on the other hand, is in short supply. There's also a real openness to questioning the why of what we're doing. Anytime I've identified a process that could be more efficient, or seen areas where we could rethink our strategy on, leadership has always been open to discussion. Also I've always felt supported by my direct management. I've worked in environments where being a high performer has meant management will assume they can just leave you be and you'll be fine. Effectively disappearing for long stretches of a time. Far from the case here. At the end of the day, Feedonomics has built a wonderful team. And a common refrain from anyone who's worked here about what makes this place the best... the product, while fantastic, always ends up playing second fiddle to how amazing the team is.

Cons

In my current role, it can be a little overwhelming at times. This is less something I fault the organization for and has more to do with the challenges of finding the right talent for the open reqs we have on my team.

No ego! None of us have the time or energy for people who place themselves above the team and we have done a fantastic job making sure that mentality sticks and hiring the right people into the company that resonate with it. This was an incredibly insightful review and we are so happy that you are enjoying your experience as a Feedo. It sounds as if things are working as intended, but let's work together to keep it that way - continue to ask the Why behind asks and always help us strive to be better. We are grateful!

Pros

The company has a robust product training program for new employees, with a self-paced online curriculum and the guidance of an instructor.

Cons

I joined the company in early 2025 as part of the sales organization (account management). Shortly thereafter—while I was still in training—I was let go without being provided a clear reason. I had only one brief meeting with my manager and hadn’t received any performance feedback. I was instructed to focus on learning the product and following the onboarding process. During training, I ran into some challenges with a technical assignment involving a skill that hadn’t been discussed during interviews. I proactively asked for support, but shortly afterward, my employment was ended. I attempted to follow up with leadership and HR, but did not receive a response. To this day, I have no understanding of what led to that outcome. While I recognize that all companies have different expectations, I would have appreciated clearer communication or a chance to adjust. I’m sharing this because my experience didn’t match the company’s public reputation. For future employees, I hope the organization creates more transparency and fosters a more dignified experience for their people, especially during difficult decisions.
