Pros
I enjoyed the team atmosphere and my immediate supervisor (Doug) was great and easy to talk to. The benefits were good but the pay was average at best.
Cons
I spent 2 years as a warehouse associate doing everything I could to excel at my position and hit target numbers. However, this became increasingly difficult due to system changes and employee expectations despite numerous attempts to convey what I was experiencing with the pick flow. Immediate supervisors were great, but our department lead didn't seem to care and wouldn't take any concerns voiced into consideration. Because of this I didn't get a single raise in almost 3 years even after asking for advice. It took taking another position in the company to get a $4/hr raise. My issues were rarely with the company itself or the culture, it was with warehouse management specifically. There seem to be a different set of rules that they play by. I learned this by asking my mother, who is still an employee, about some things I experienced. For instance I was reprimanded for using sick time that was allotted to me (not going over or abusing mind you) because I got sick twice with sinus infections.
